Your Guide to Mastering Menopausal Miseries & Mysteries

WHAT IS HORMONES GONE WILD?

I’m dedicated to making menopause and women’s health more approachable and enjoyable through humor and relatable content.

As a menopause specialist, I founded Hormones Gone Wild, a one-of-a-kind masterclass series that combines humor with education to shed light on all aspects of women’s health.

In addition to launching Hormones Gone Wild, I also had the privilege of establishing the first menopause clinic in South Dakota. This allowed me to directly address the needs of women in my community and beyond, providing them with the support and guidance they deserve.

The idea for Hormones Gone Wild came to me when I realized the glaring lack of understanding and information about what women go through during menopause. I wanted to create a space where women could feel comfortable, informed, and even have a good laugh while learning about their bodies, and how to address their concerns and get real answers.

Join me as we navigate the wild and wonderful world of women’s health together, with a touch of humor, a wealth of knowledge, and a whole lot of heart. Let’s embrace this journey with openness, confidence, and a few laughs along the way!

Menopause typically begins with perimenopause — the transition when hormone levels, especially estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone begin to fluctuate. If you’re over 35 and experiencing any of the symptoms below, your body may be entering this natural phase of hormonal change leading to menopause.

Common signs you may be going through perimenopause and menopause include:

  • Irregular or missed periods (shorter, longer, or skipping cycles altogether)
  • Hot flashes or night sweats disrupting sleep
  • Mood swings, anxiety, or unexplained irritability
  • Low libido, painful intercourse, or vaginal dryness
  • Difficulty sleeping, fatigue, or brain fog
  • Losing hair or thinning hair, loss of skin texture or dryness, and brittle nails
  • Unexplained muscle aches and joint pain
